Saturday One-Shot-Evening - The Henry Addington

For our Saturday evening event, we’ll be getting together for a Reliquiae One-Shot evening, with food and drinks at the The Henry Addington!

We have 6 DMs running one-shots, with a target of 5 players per table. This means we have a maximum of 30 player spaces, and these will be first come, first served!

Want to play? Please react to this post on Discord. AND fill in the pre-order spreadsheet when available.

DMs: please DO NOT react to the post — you already have your places reserved! You will still need to complete the food and drink pre-order sheet.

Food & Drink Pre-Orders

A pre-order sheet for food and drinks has been put together. Please make sure you submit your choices by 11th October on this post on Discord.

We’ll be paying table-by-table at the pub before we start the one-shots, so the pre-orders are mainly to make sure everything runs as smoothly as possible when we arrive. You don't have to order food if you don't want to — you can just order a drink. However, if you want food, you will need to pre-order it so we can make sure the service runs smoothly for the whole group.

Safety Tools & Trigger Information

We’ll go through the safety tools at the start of the evening, but across all six tables we’ll be using two standard safety tools: the Short Pause and the X-Card. These are there to give anyone an easy way to pause or step away from something if they need to, without having to explain themselves in the moment.

Each DM has also highlighted potential triggers or sensitive themes that may come up in their one-shot, which you’ll find in the descriptions below.

If you have any concerns about a particular trigger, or there are things you would be uncomfortable encountering during a game, please fill in the Trigger & Safety Form and send it to Ben - The Fan Not The Starr or Kyra114 on Discord.

The form will only be seen by Ben, Kyra, and your DM for the evening.

If there are specific one-shots that you would prefer not to be part of because of their themes or potential triggers, please let us know as well. You don't need to provide any explanation beyond what you're comfortable sharing.

The purpose of these tools is to make sure everyone has the opportunity to participate, feel comfortable, and have a genuinely good time playing D&D together.

That said, the safety tools can only work if we communicate with each other. Please make sure you let us know about anything we need to be aware of before the evening. We can't accommodate something we don't know about, so please use the form or speak to Ben or myself if there is anything you're concerned about.

The Games

PSA

A lot of time and effort goes into organising these events, and we’re really excited to put this one together for everyone!

Because spaces for the one-shots are limited, if you make it onto the final player list, we’re expecting you to attend unless something genuinely unavoidable/unexpected comes up.

We completely understand that sometimes things happen — but please keep in mind that your space could have gone to someone else, and last-minute cancellations also mean a fair bit of faffing around trying to rearrange players between tables. So please only commit to the event if you’re reasonably confident you’ll be able to make it. ❤️ (Otherwise you will be on the list RAWR)

We really appreciate everyone helping us keep things running smoothly, and we’re looking forward to a fun evening of D&D, food and general Sixpack chaos!

Also special shout out to Mark from Crafted Campaigns. Make sure to stop by their stand during the convention!
